Taken by Storm gets 5 Blue Ribbions!!!!

When Syleena Webster’s best friend invited her home for the school break all that was on their mind was having a whole lot of fun. This was bound not to happen, as meeting her friend brother Storm at the airport put all those plans up in the air, and it only got worse as the day progressed. Before nightfall Syleena would be walking out on her best friend and her brother.
Five Years Later

Syleena has been running for years, trying to hide a secret so shameful she has never told anyone other than her best friend. The last time she ran – a fast walk so to speak, was when she left Storm Hyde’s house, exactly where she now find herself years later trapped into staying on his ranch. Syleena has always known that she compared every man to Storm, her attraction to him has not lessened and with them in close proximity – what will become of her willpower to avoid the storm that is Storm?

Storm Hyde, wealthy local banker is also a local man with a huge chip on his shoulders when it comes to women. Storm has more or less given up on the happily ever after dream. He lives life one day at a time and has no plan to commit to any one woman. Five years earlier he inadvertently caused Syleena to walk out of his door, the opportunity has presented itself for him to have another change with the dark skinned beauty with the soulful brown eyes. Can he however change his attitude towards women before more harm is done – this time?

Marie Rochelle’s TAKEN By STORM is a full length read with a plot that will have you turning the pages as fast as you can to get to the end of this fantastic novel.

Storm Hyde is very much the alpha male, dominantly knowing it all and wants it when he wants it now. After years of isolating himself from the basic emotion of loving someone just for the sake of it, he is not prepared for the knee jerk reaction his heart takes in regards to Syleena. He does everything to make Syleena his but still holds her at arms length from the real him.

Syleena has gone so long trying to outlive her parentage; she is now unwilling to mar any prospect of happiness for herself by even mentioning the facts surrounding her upbringing. When she is hurt beyond anything she has ever imagined, she is very much unwilling to give her heart away for a second time.

If you have not read Ms. Rochelle works before this is a great beginning. For old fans, be prepared for a fantastic journey into Ms. Rochelle’s world, Storm and Syleena are a force to be reckoned with, together and apart.

Contract News!!!!!

For everyone who loved my Christmas story Special Delivery, I have wonderful news. I just signed a contract for the sequel, Special Delivery 2: Heat Me Up with Red Rose Publishing. I don't have a release date or cover yet. However, when I do I'll post the information here. So, keep checking by for more details. Here's the blurb:

Stamford King was running from his past. He wanted to get as far as he could from North Carolina because the only thing there for him was bad memories of Christmas past. At first all he wanted to do was get through the joyous holiday season and let the New Year start, but a chance meeting in an elevator at Director Enterprises stopped that thought cold.
Syeshia Jones never expected to meet a drop dead gorgeous hunk the day she yelled. “Hold the elevator,” but that is what happened. She couldn’t get over her instant attraction to Stamford King.
Everything was going perfect between them until a week before Christmas. Will they be able to patch things up or will both of them be spending Christmas morning alone?

Taken by Storm coming October 20th in ebook and print

Taking a deep breath, she shook off the last of her nerves and walked the last few steps. The sight that caught her eyes made her gasp in the back of her throat. A coal black stallion with a white strip going down to its muzzle stood in the middle of the stall. His liquid brown eyes stared back at her like he was trying to decide if she was his friend or his enemy.“Why aren’t you out toward the front with the other horses?” Syleena whispered. Slowly she moved closer to the magnificent animal and she talked softly so he wouldn’t be frightened of her.“Hello there, aren’t you something to look at? I bet you get all kinds of attention with your beautiful black coat.” The horse raised his ears like he always understood what she was saying to him. Syleena bit her lip to keep coming laughing when he moved cautiously toward her voice. Only a few more inches and she would be able to touch him. “Come here, boy, will you let me touch you?” She moved her hand out slowly toward his muzzle. He moved to the edge of the door and stuck his head out at her.“See, I knew you wanted some attention form me.” Leaning in closer to the amazing animal she whispered. “I don’t want the other horses to hear, but you’re the most striking one here.” The stallion shook his head at her like he understood every word coming out of her mouth.“Do you know what you’re doing is really dangerous? What if he had tried to bite your hand?” Syleena flinched at the sound of Storm’s usual growled behind her. She noticed even the stallion moved its head back when Storm’s voice echoed around them. She wiped her hands on her jeans, then spun around to look at Storm. “Why did you do that? I was having a good time talking to him and you scare him away?”“Thunder is very dangerous. Most of the men here are scared to come within ten feet of that damn horse. Then I walk up on you and he’s practically eating out of your hand.”“Maybe I’ve a better connection with him.”“Really….? What would you call the connection-Beauty and the Beauty?"Syleena tossed one last look at Thunder, then brushed past Storm. “I don’t have stand here and listen to you insult me.”“Wait…. I didn’t mean it as an insult.” Storm yelled after her. “Stand still so I can apologize.”She didn’t want to hear it, so she kept walking toward the front of the stable. She heard Storm’s footsteps gaining on hers, but she didn’t turn around. How much more of him could she really take?“Damn it! Woman…will you slow down!” Storm hissed. His hand wrapped around her arm and jerked her back around to face him. “Will you stand still and let me apologize?”She glanced down at Strom’s fingers attached to her wrist. She was surprised by his dark tanned. How did he get so dark if he spent all his time at the office? “Let go of my arm first.” Slowly his grip eased off her arm and he moved back.“I’m sorry for what I said. I was joking, but you didn’t take it that away. How about I make it up to you with riding lessons?”Her mind tingled with the possibilities of being alone on horseback in the woods with Storm. Stop it, girl! This man doesn’t want you. “When would you want to start the first lesson?”“It’s almost dinner time so it’s too late to start now. How about later on in the week? I’ve to check my schedule at work first.”“Sounds like a plan to me.”“Do you think Brian will mind you spending so much of your free time with me?She could barley control her eye roll this time. Here we go again.“No. Brian is very understanding and he won’t care. Actually, he’ll love I’m finding things to do while I’m here for the wedding.” “Yeah…the wedding I still can’t believe Vicki’s son is your date.”“Who’s your date for the wedding?”“I don’t have one.” “You’re kidding right?”“No, I don’t have a date,” Storm replied.“Why not? I’m pretty sure you could find one at the drop of a hat. So what is the hold up?”“What if I told you the woman I wanted to take already had a date and I was jealous?” “I guess you should have asked her before the other man did, but I can’t believe you would be jealous of another man.” “Don’t you want to know who the woman is?” Syleena stood frozen in front of Storm. She didn’t know what to say. A part of her wanted to know, but the deeper part of her didn’t. It was like of she found out it would change how she looked at him.“Do you want to know?” Storm asked again moving closer to her.She took a step back and shook her head. “No….I don’t think it’s any of my business.”She didn’t fight when Storm wrapped his fingers around her upper arms and tugged her to his body. She could feel the heat from his body through the layers on clothes on their body. Syleena was so taken back that she didn’t know what to do when Storm’s lips brushed her ear.“Syleena, live a little and ask me who she is?”“I…I don’t want to….know who it is.”Dark gray eyes flashed with sudden anger before Storm’s mouth started to lower toward hers. Syleena wanted to feel guilty about wanting this kiss, but she didn’t. Storm’s firm lips were an inch from hers when she heard.“Syleena, are you in there,” Brian yelled from outside. She wrestled her body from Storm’s tight grip and stumbled backwards. What in the hell was wrong with her? She couldn’t let Storm kiss her. Pressing her hand against her chest, she took several deep breaths.“You better answer him before he comes in looking for you.”She hurried away from the temptation of Storm for the safety of Brian. “Yes, I’m in here.”“Good…I’ll come in there to you.”“Don’t come to me I’ll come to you.” She rushed out the stables right into Brian. “Brian, what are you doing here? “I thought you were helping your mom finish planning the wedding.”Brian smiled. “I left early because I wanted to take you out to dinner.” She observed him through lowered lashes. The crisp white shirt and dark slack did compliment his blond good looks. She would be an idiot to turn Brian down after what almost happened with Storm. “You look very nice, Brian.” “Thanks, so I that a yes to dinner?“Yes….Just let me go shower and change then I’ll be all yours.”“Great, do you mind if I wait for you outside in the car? I’ve to make some business calls on my cellphone.” “No, that will be fine,” Syleena said.“Let me walk you back to the house.” “Sure.” Syleena agreed. Without turning around, she knew Storm watched them every step of the way back to the house. She could feel his eye drilling a hole into the back of her head.

Jeanie Johnson and Jayha Leigh interview

Ladies,

Thanks so much for agreeing to get interviewed by me.
Thanks,
Marie

How long have you been writing; was it something you have always wanted to do?
(Jeanie) I’ve been writing for a long time but it’s always just been meanderings, it wasn’t until my late teens that I started to structure my writing into something understandable.

(Jayha) Since the US makes education compulsory, I’ve been writing since way back. It started off with ‘what I did over summer vacation’ papers and progressed to book reports, then onto history papers and before you know it I was doing thesis papers for professors. I always wanted to do something that gave me unbridled power but right now I don’t have the juice to be like an evil dictator so along with Jeanie we get to create worlds where we can run thingsJ

Who is your target audience?

(Jeanie) I’m unsure if I have one individually, together I think Momma and I are targeting the women out there in the world who have lived/survived/worked it out and those who don’t have a voice, we want to give them one, heck we want to shout out loud for them.

(Jayha) Yeah, what she said…but I’d like to add that we are our target audience being that we write books that first and foremost WE want to read. Until we’re happy with a book it doesn’t go out.

Often a writer’s first book is the toughest to write. Was this true for you? If so, what helped you get through it? If it wasn’t the first, which one was the most difficult to write? The easiest?

(Jeanie) Together our first book involved a whole lot of phone calls and emails – actually so did our last book, we just communicate a whole lot and we keep tempting each other’s reader by sending each other snippets/excerpts of what we’ve written that day, it keeps us on our toes and its entertaining as all get out and to be quite honest I don’t think it could ever be hard to work with Momma. I don’t think it was the most difficult, but with Carolina In The Storming – it was a juggernaut to conceive then to transfer from ideas to the page it was never meant to be easy because for us it was important that we truly realized the characters and the story they wanted us to share, we think we did that and that is once again all down to communication.

(Jayha) what she said…and let me just add these two points. First, we didn’t ever intend to write together. In fact, after getting rejected by EVERYBODY and their momma for Wild, Wild Mess: Atlanta, I was convinced that I was through trying my hand at writing and Jeanie was convinced that no one would want to read her prose (silly, beautiful child). And I honestly don’t recall how we ended up writing that first book…but I’m glad that we did.

When we finished HOT LIKE FIRE: the Taming and Liberation of Mariana, we figured it was a one-time deal. We never intended it to grow into a series or for the series to spawn other series, but alas it did. When we finally realized that we needed a joint website and such, we tried to be all corporate and organized and even purchased a dry erase calendar (both Jeanie and Dréa have dry-erase board fetish) where we scheduled release dates and such. After one month we realized that that was so not for us because we had to write the story that was beating at us, that sung to us, that captured our hearts. The muse has no freaking respect at all for schedules and we (and our moderators and readers) have learned to accept that. Second, before Mr. Me got us a deal with the cable company, our phone calls were running in excess of a thousand dollars per month being that we like to talk stories out.

Do you have a writing routine? What is your average writing day like?

(Jeanie) Routine is a FOUR letter word for Momma and myself, many different hours of the day could be inspiring for Momma and myself, unfortunately the MUSE is also a four letter word (literally as well! LOL) so whenever he/she decides to inspire us we just have to roll with it.

(Jayha) routine…muse…why are y’all cussing so early in the morning? Smile.

Is there any plot/setting/character that you’re dying to write but haven’t yet?

(Jeanie) Oh Marie-Rochelle, if Momma and I have fifteen hands EACH and numerous PC’s and keyboards we still wouldn’t be able to keep up with the idea’s that we have within us. So in short, YES, YES and YES! J

(Jayha) Yeah, what she said. Y’all just have no idea how many stories are in the works...we just hope y’all jump on the ride with us and ride this baby to the end.

Any advice to aspiring authors? What craft books helped you that you would recommend to aspiring writers?
(Jeanie and Jayha) Every single book someone reads is going to help a fledgling writer to write – every book will have something you love, something you hate, something you want to expand upon this can only exercise one’s imagination.

Decide if you want to write because it’s a passion burning within you or if you want to write for money. If you decide you want to write for money well, there are a whole set of regulations that come with that. If you decide you want to write because you’re your passion, know what YOU want to write. Know what you’re NOT willing to compromise on. Van Gogh didn’t sell one freaking painting during his lifetime but he kept painting and though I don’t care for his technique, I have a whole new respect for the man. It takes passion to create art especially when it doesn’t reward you financially.

What can your fans look forward to from you in the near future? What are you working on now?

(Jeanie and Jayha) We have so many series that we’re really trying to work through because we know and love every single one of our characters and we want them to have the day in the light. Right now we’re working on three different stories (that haven’t been mentioned by us just yet) as well as our individual stories/series.

What does your family think of your writing? Do they read it?

(Jeanie) Our family is slightly bewildered by what we do. I think one of cousins mentioned Danielle Steele back when I first started writing…I don’t talk to that cousin anymore…lol! J

(Jayha) My family is just amazed that I’m not rotting away in foreign prison somewhere…smile.

What do you do to amuse yourself when not working?

(Jeanie and Jayha) Is there ever a time when a writer isn’t working? But seriously, we sit around and plot world domination.

Could you tell us a little bit about yourself?

(Jeanie) I’m the spoiled baby and my Momma and sister’s are the ones that spoil me.

(Jayha) What do you mean by this word ‘spoiling’? I don’t recall spoiling you … at all. So a bit about me…I’m a full-time grad student, I work full-time (third shift) and I’m a full time sh*t starter whose been known on occasion to stagger into work…ON TIME.

What makes a great book to you? Is Happily Ever After an important aspect for you?

(Jeanie) Characters that I can identify with, a storyline that keeps me guessing, hilarity, hot love all wrapped up with a man who loves his woman like every woman needs/wants – COMPLETELY!

Jayha interrupts this question for a soapbox moment.
Although we write books that we hope anyone could get into and enjoy, we know that our biggest audience consists of women of color. Women of color tend to suffer the ills of society disproportionately (rape, poverty, ill health, single parenthood, etc) so the female readers that come to our stories have enough shit in their lives and we want to make our books a refuge of sorts.

Just my opinion but what women DON’T need is to read about more shitty fucking males who do the female wrong and more long-suffering females that allow themselves to enable the male to act like an azzhole or allow themselves to be treated like doormats. Too many women already have the cheating spouse, the deadbeat dad, the boyfriend who beats them, the boss who harasses them because they know that jobs are scarce, money issues, family issues, and a whole host of –isms. Every one of our books will have a HEA because women so desperately need that and women of color and poor white women especially need it.

Just as if you only show a child uneducated, poor role models they often will grow up to think that being uneducated and poor is normative. Too many women have grown up thinking that being treated like shit, being overlooked, being alone is normative and we don’t want that. We want women of all kinds, all sizes, all shades, all backgrounds to realize that they deserve a HEA. And yes, life is hard, no guarantees but for just a little while, in our books life can be a little bit easier, a little bit sweeter.

Do you have any indulgent behaviors? Favorite comfort foods? Favorite bath or body products?

(Jeanie) Coca Cola
(Jayha) sweet iced tea, dessert

(Jeanie) Victoria’s Secret Love Spell
(Jayha) a whole host of Carol’s daughter products

Do you have a favorite music you love to listen to? Least favorite?
(Jeanie) Everything – from Classical Music to Death Metal and everything in between, I’m a weirdo

(Jayha) I’m also a weirdo but I primarily listen to the NFL channel on my satellite radio…I rarely listen to music which is why I don’t know the titles of anything. Still, a few of my all-time fav songs are Pavarotti’s rendition of Nessun Dorma, This Woman’s Work sung by Maxwell, and of course the MNF Jingle and the Tarheel (University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill) fight song

You find yourself stranded on a desert island; what things could you not live without?

(Jeanie) Coca Cola, internet connection and my Momma

(Jayha) What Jeanie said except replace the Coca-Cola with sweet iced tea or citrus cooler Gatorade being that I don’t drink soda…also a bridge to another island that had an airport, an ER and a standing army you know, because I have enemies…Also selected members of my family.

Buy Now: Loving True in ebook and print

Construction industrialist Hayward Campbell walked across the porch of his newly remolded home and squinted in the bright morning sunlight. It was July, and up in the mountains it meant scorching sun and cool breezes. He let his robe hang open, enjoying the breeze across his naked chest, and the slight flapping of his green silk boxers against him. He sighed and stepped on the dew covered grass, the soft green grass felt good to his bare feet as he sauntered along.
He was in no hurry, the peace fullness of his cabin was the thing he needed, and hopefully in time, it could help to mend his battered heart. Nothing could ever fix the damage that she had done. But if what everyone said was true, maybe he could learn to live with it.
Hayward slowed his gait. Unconsciously he caught the edge of his robe and pulled it together. Someone had moved in the house next door because the For Sale sign was gone. He felt a burst of anger at the intruder; this was his peace of heaven. Who would dare invade his paradise?
How could he not notice someone was moving in next door? Was he so locked away inside this house that not once did the sound of a moving truck echo through his ears? Just how long had the For Sale been missing from the yard? A month? A week? He really couldn’t remember the last time he saw the tan sign next door. His real estate broker had tried to make the owner an offer for him, but the guy never would accept any of his offers.
He had lost count how many females had rented the house only to leave after two months of living there. Rural Montana wasn’t a place most women want to live in the first place, so he still didn’t until why so many moved in next door.
There weren’t any clothing stores or restaurant for miles and he loved that. The unfortunate women who had moved next door found out rather quickly and moved rather quickly.
The further away he was from the fast paced speed of the city the calmer his life was. That kind of life had cost him something precious and he wasn’t about to be pulled back into the lifestyle again for anyone, no what how much his family wanted it.
His brother called him last week and tried to coach him into coming back for a little visit, but he turned him down instantly. Now, he loved his brother however it was past time Clinton stopped trying to heal his wounds. His like the pain the memories caused him, it made him realize how being focused only on money shattered his life.
Rubbing the side of his eyes with the back of his hand, he blinked some of the sleep from his dark blue eyes and wondered about his new neighbor. Would it be another woman this time? The last females who had lived there within six months of each other thought he might need a little ‘extra’ neighborly hospitality, but he shot their ideas rather quickly. He didn’t move out here to find a warm body to his bed doing the winter months.
Hayward couldn’t want to find out who was the next person was that decided to take on the chance of living in that huge house next door. It didn’t matter if it was a family, a man, or a woman. As long as they left his to his own devices he would be the best neighbor that anyone could ask for. He was about to turn and go back into the house the sound of a speeding car coming down the street caught his attention.
A firecracker red Mustang pulled up into the driveway next door and the roaring engine became a soft purr before it was shut off. Well, his question was about to be answered in a few seconds. Please don’t let it be another lonely female looking for a man, because he wasn’t about to fit into the role ever again in his life.
The car door swung open then as he watched, a pair of well-toned cocoa legs appeared, followed by a nicely firm bottom encased in blue jean shorts. She got out of the car, stretched, took in a long full breath, and his blood warmed at the sight. He would swear a plain white t-shirt never looked so good.

Who will be policing who? The detective or the attorney?

EXCERPT :

Lindow looked down at the finger touching his chest and he knew that he shouldn’t do what he was thinking, but he needed to ease the stress they were both feeling. Wrapping an arm around Daria’s wrist, he tugged her to him and then slipped his free into position while his mouth captured hers.
“Daria, do you know how much I want you?” He breathed against her lips. “I have dreamt about this kiss for such a long time.”
Using his tongue he made long sweeping, swirling motions inside Daria’s mouth trying to draw the response he wanted from her. His mind raced with several different emotions from her taste to pleasure and lastly satisfaction. He knew she would taste as good as she looked.
Wanting more he eased her closer to his throbbing body hoping to alleviate some of the ache. Lindow was perfectly content to go on kissing her forever unlike Daria who was starting to fight the deeper emotions between them. He wanted to work his charm on her but she wasn’t having it.
Tearing her mouth away Daria shoved him away from her, “What are you doing?” she murmured pressing the tips of her fingers to her mouth. “We aren’t supposed to be kissing.”

Tycoon Club series Book#2 Boss Man unedtied excerpt

Fancy Shayne sat outside the closed door and wondered for the fifth time what in the hell was she doing here. Sure, the job read perfect in the paper but did she really want to apply for it. The Tycoon Club money was excellent. However, if she landed this job she could quit the club and save up money faster.
Wiping her sweaty palms down the front of her pants, she tried to calm down her racing pulse. It wouldn’t do her any good to show him how nervous that he made her. She was here to land this job not drool all over the man who was about to interview her. Headley was so wrong thinking she would get the job just because he knew her. Hell, half the time he wouldn’t even speak to her when he walked past her in town. Why would he invite her to live under the same roof as him?
No, this was a mistake. She had to get out of here before she made a huge ass out of herself. Standing up, Fancy was about to head for the entrance when the door opened in front of her. She froze to the spot as the man she had a Texas size crush on filled its doorway.
“Sorry to keep you waiting, Ms. Shayne,” Maxwell Reed said. “I was on the phone. Why don’t you come on in and we can get this interview started?”

Excerpt:

“How do you like this?” Zack whispered moving to lick the side of Traci’s slim neck tenderly. Placing her hands at the side of her head he straddled her hips tracing her body with his fingertips. “Your skin is so soft.”
Pausing at two hard nipples peeking through the see-through bra, he rubbed one between his forefinger and thumb. “Does this mean you want me?” Zack questioned loving Traci’s body’s reaction to his.
Looking into his eyes Traci nodded while her delicious body squirmed under his. “Yes, I want you,” she gasped. “You know that I do quit playing with me.”
Smirking Zack bent down and ran the very tip of his tongue across the end of her nipple. “Hmm…you taste so sweet.” He breathed against her nipple. “I love when you taste like this. It makes me want to lick and taste the rest of you.”
Whimpering Traci tried to rise off the bed, but he gently pushed her back down. “Honey, tell me what you want and I’ll do it.”
Traci was shocked at her own eagerness to tell him what she wanted, “I want your mouth.”
“Right here,” he asked brushing a thumb over the hard nipple.
“You know the answer is yes,” she moaned between clenched teeth.
“Remember your wish is my command, beautiful,” Zack whispered.
Undoing the bra he tossed to the floor, “I always did love hard candy,” he groaned taking a pointed nipple into his mouth sucking hard. Running her hands through his hair Traci kept his face against her breasts purring in the back of her throat.

Junk n' her Trunk blurb

Dangerous Bet:Troy's Revenge

“Mr. Christian, is everything okay this morning? You seem a little preoccupied. Is there anything I can do for you?”
Troy dropped his fingers from his temple and found his secretary standing in front of his office desk with several folders in her hand. He didn’t even know how long she had been standing there. He couldn’t get his mind off the fact that Headley had bet him she could have the entire amount of money her father owed back to him in a matter of weeks. What in the hell was she going to do to get her father’s debt paid in full?
“Mr. Christian,” his secretary’s voice chimed in again.
“Heather, I’m fine. Please just lay the files on my desk and go to lunch. There’s no need to worry about me.” He answered making eye contact with her. Troy hoped that Heather would leave without asking him any more questions. He should have stayed home and worked from the ranch like he wanted to this morning. But he hadn’t been into the office for about a week and he felt the urge to check in.
“Yes, sir,” Heather replied, placing the information down like he requested. Then she left closing the door behind her.
Picking up the file on the top, he flipped it open and read over the contract in his hand. He hadn’t tricked Douglas into signing this agreement. Headley’s father had come to him looking for help and he had given it to him, but with a deadline attached. Douglas promised him that he would have the money back within a two-year period, but he failed to live up to his end of the bargain.
How could Headley even think that he would do something to harm her father? Douglas Rose was a good, honest, hardworking man. For as long as he had known the man, Douglas never asked for a hand-out. Then the ranch started losing business.
But he wasn’t about to lose money. Not for anyone, not even Headley. He still couldn’t believe how stunning she was. A day didn’t go by that he didn’t think about those huge dark brown eyes of hers or the hourglass shaped body that he had wanted since he and his family moved to this town.
Headley was a constant temptation to him from the moment he saw her running down the trail at her house. He had been out riding and was coming back in when he saw her and everything around him stopped.
His cock had grown so hard, making it impossible to sit still on his horse. She was a vision of perfection with the way her young, perky breasts bounced underneath her white t-shirt. The matching shorts had shown off her perfect cocoa skin and ideas he shouldn’t be thinking about popped into his twenty-two year old head.
Instead of following her like his body and mind pushed him to, he had turned and headed back for his house. He had made sure no one was home before he locked himself in his room and gave his body the relief it craved.
Headley had been so young that she never realized how badly he wanted her back then. Hell, the need hadn’t left even after all of these years. His body still wanted hers with a driving need that made his gut clench. It didn’t even stop when she stormed into his den looking madder than hell and ready to slap the taste out of his mouth.
It was quite a change from the quiet and shy girl that left here looking for fame in the high paced fashion industry. He’d never forget the day he had followed Headley’s family to the bus station and watched her leave his life. It was the worst pain he had ever felt, but he never let anyone know. His feelings for Headley were private and no one else needed to know about them.
“I see you’re sitting there plotting how to bring down another family,” a feminine voice uttered from the doorway.
Troy slowly replaced the paper back into the folder and closed it. “I’m glad to see you got my message that I left on your answering machine last night. I was a little concerned you might not show up.” He replied watching as Headley came into his office oblivious to the fact that he wanted to kiss her senseless.
“Your message wasn’t a request, but a demand. How could I not come? You know that I want to save my father’s business as soon as I can and head back to New York. So, what do you want?”
Headley was going to leave?
Troy didn’t like the sound of that. He’d have to find a way to make her stay here with him and if he had to use her father to do that, then so be it. “You made a bet with me last night that you’d find a way to pay off Douglas’s off in full. I think it’s only fair that you know the entire amount. I don’t want you making a bet that you won’t have the ability to keep. Besides, making a bet with a man like me is a dangerous thing because I always play to win,” he grinned.

Taken by Storm is coming back!!!!

Excerpt:
Storm took in the vision before him. Syleena’s hair was twisted up with only a small strand left out to fall gently on her smooth dark caramel cheek. A satin black robe was tied around her waist and her make-up was completed except for her lipstick. “Did you think I would let you leave with Brian before we finished what we started in the stables?”
“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” she whispered taking another step toward the bathroom.
He saw what Syleena’s was trying to do, but he wasn’t going to allow it. Closing the small gasp between their bodies with three quick steps, he wrapped his fingers around her small wrist and hauled her body to his. The scent of Apricot and Chamomile filled his senses.
Syleena tried to push him away with her free hand but she wasn’t strong enough.
“Stop struggling I would never hurt you, Vixen.”
Hearing the endearment she stopped and looked up at him. “We can’t do this, Storm.”
“Do what?” he asked. His eyes dropped down to her mouth and he could almost taste her. “All I want is just one kiss before you leave for your date,” he whispered before capturing her mouth with his.
Twisting in his arms and arching her body, Syleena sought to get free. She didn’t want to feel Storm’s warm mouth on hers. His lips were hard and searching and sent a jolt of awareness through her body. The tip of his tongue licked the side of her mouth and she swallowed down a moan.
“Stop playing around with me, Syleena,” Storm breathed against her lips. “Open that cute mouth of yours so I can taste you. I know you want it as much as I do.”
Her body screamed at her to do what Storm asked, but her mind was stronger for the moment. Storm really didn’t want her. He was only kissing her to prove a point that he could get her body to want his. She wouldn’t let him to that to her.
“No,” Syleena muttered tearing her mouth away. Taking a step back, she wiped Storm’s kiss from her mouth with the tips of her fingers. “I don’t want you to kiss me not now not ever.”
Gray eyes grew two shades darker right before her eyes, “Don’t tempt me with a challenge like that Syleena. I’m not a man you should taunt,” Storm growled.
Squaring her shoulder, she tossed Storm a hard look of her own. “What makes you think I’m not telling you the truth?”
Syleena didn’t have time to reaction before Storm reached out and roughly jerked her back into his arms. “Make no mistake of this Syleena. I known when a woman wants me and you sweetheart want me.” He planted another hard kiss to her mouth before moving away.
“Have a good time on your date tonight.” He opened the door and went out without looking back.

Mark you calendars for All the Fixin' in Print

“I can’t believe this shit!” The man growled jumping up from his seat slamming his hand face down on the freshly polished table. “I know she did something to trick my aunt into signing those papers.”
“Please retake your seat Mr. Evans. I won’t have that kind of outburst again in my office,” the attorney threatened pushing his glasses back up his nose. “This will is your aunt’s final wishes unless you can prove she wasn’t of sound mind when she wrote it.”
Craig Clark Evans known to his friends as C.C. fell back into his seat glaring across the table at the he had grown to hate over the last two years of his aunt’s life.
“Fine, don’t worry Mr. Terry. I’ll find a way to prove that Miss Anderson isn’t the nice and sweet woman she’s pretending to be. She used my dying aunt kindness to get her money and that’s why we are here today.”
“Mr. Evans, once again I ask you to please refrain from saying nasty comments about Miss Anderson,” Mr. Terry uttered. “She has been sitting here without saying a word for the past hour maybe you should learn something for her.”
Craig narrowed his hazel eyes at his nemesis sitting across from him at the table. Sure she would be quiet and not stir up any trouble. Why would she after his aunt left her in charge of an estate worth over six million dollars? She would never have to work again.
Today she was playing the roll of grieving friend by wearing a slim black dress that molded against all her curves. Subconsciously his eyes were drawn to the small silt in the front just showing a hint of rich Hershey chocolate skin. She even had pulled her shoulder length bob haircut back into a tight bun showing off her jawbone. He had to give her credit today Shea Anderson looked devastated about the sudden passing of his Aunt Rebecca, but he didn’t trust her as far as he could throw her.
How did she know his aunt wasn’t the founder of the firmer and plumper lipstick chain? Luscious Lips had been in his family for years and he was the only living relative how in the hell didn’t he get the company.
He was close to his aunt so there was no way she wouldn’t have left it to him. No, Shea did something to trick his aunt and he would find out what it was.
“Mr. Evans are you listening to me,” his aunt’s lawyer interrupted making him push thoughts of Shea to the back of his mind but only for the moment.
“Sorry Mr. Terry my mind was somewhere else for a few moments. I apologize,” he answered, “Can you repeat what you just said?”
Mr. Terry pushed his glasses up for a fourth time that today then swung his dishwater brown eyes from him back over to Shea before he continued. “Your aunt left a clause in the will.”
“Thank God!” He burst out happy his Aunt Rebecca hadn’t been completely fooled by the sexy siren in front of him.
“Craig, I’m not going to warn you again about speaking your mind. One more comment and I’m done reading this will,” Mr. Terry threatened.
“I apologize. I swear that was my last outburst.”
“It better have been,” Mr. Terry exclaimed, “The clause in your aunt’s will stipulates that Ms. Anderson has until Thanksgiving to turn down the estate. If Shea doesn’t claim it the estate automatically goes to you with no question asked.”
Craig knew there was no way in hell Shea was going to turn down that kind of money. Someone like her had finally found the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow and giving it back hadn’t entered her mind.
“Mr. Terry, I don’t want Rebecca’s money. I didn’t become her friend for that.” Shea’s raspy voice interrupted making him looking back at the woman who had been tormenting him for months. “I’ll sign them over to Craig right now.”
“I’m sorry Miss. Anderson, but you can’t sign the papers until now.”
“Okay…then I’ll be back in touch with you in a couple of weeks,” She uttered surprising him. What was she up to now?
Craig watched as Shea grabbed her jacket off the back of the chair and made her way toward the door. He hated how he noticed everything was perfect on her five feet five inch frame. She didn’t even glance in his direction as she went past his chair then out the door.
“Craig, don’t you bully her into not taking the estate,” his aunt’s lawyer warned him gathering up the will and other papers off the desk. “Rebecca had her mind up until the day she died. If she let Shea all that money it was for a reason. Now it’s left up to you to find out why.”
“The only thing I have to do is be here on the day Shea signs over what’s belongs to me.” He stated getting up from his seat then he left with room without a backward glance in his aunt’s lawyer’s direction.
* * * *

Shea Anderson shoved her arms into the sleeves of her jacket and buttoned it up wishing the elevator would hurry up and come on. She didn’t have anymore energy left in her to go another round the Craig. It took all her willpower not to stare at him during the will reading.
Craig Evans wouldn’t want her drooling all over him. He made it clear all the times that he visited his aunt that she wasn’t type of woman. No, Craig always brought the leggy strawberry blondes with him. Model types who would always be a size zero no matter how much they ate or didn’t eat for that matter and that had men like Craig dying to be with them.
Why did she have to be attracted to a man who thought she befriended his aunt for her money? God, he wouldn’t believe she didn’t know who Rebecca Anderson was until his aunt told her two weeks ago. Rebecca said that she was leaving her something in her will, but her six million dollar estate never crossed her mind. Hell, she thought it was going to be the silver Jaguar she loved driving so much.
Leaning her shoulder against the wall by the slow moving elevator she massaged her temple with the tips of her fingers. This day couldn’t get any worse for her.
“Don’t stand there and act all innocent when we both know you’re counting down the days until you have all of that money,” a deep timber voice accused. The man she dreamt about voice accused pouring all of her senses.
Spinning around she threw Craig a hateful looking praying he wouldn’t notice the crush she had on him. Today his dark brown hair was brushed back off his forehead and the ends were brushing the collar of his white suit. The dark blue suit molded the perfect body she knew he worked out five days a week to keep.
She dropped her eyes down to his full firm lips dreaming what it would be like if he ever pushed down the hate he harbored for her and kissed her. Shea quickly shook the thought from her mind. Craig detested her and didn’t mince his words about it.
“Mr. Evans, aren’t you late for a corporate meeting so something,” Shea sighed turning back around to the elevator.
“Shea, don’t you turn your back to me.” Craig uttered behind her.
Craig wrapped his fingers around her arm and spun her back around to face him. He pulled her so close to him that her breasts brushed the hardness of his chest. She bit the inside of her lip to keep from moaning as the unexpected electric shot charged through her body. She darted her eyes up to Craig’s face to see did he feel the same thing, but she only saw the same hard look he always tossed her way.
“I won’t let you steal my aunt’s money away from the family. You aren’t part of the family and never will be. That money should have gone to me to pass on to my future wife and kids.” Shaking off Craig’s touch she folded her arms under her breasts. “You’ll get your wish on Thanksgiving but until then stay out of my way, Mr. Anderson.” She shot back as the elevator’s door slid open behind her. “I want your aunt’s money as about as much as I want to be in a relationship with your arrogant ass.” With that finally comment hanging in the air between them. Shea spun away got on the elevator. It closed before Craig had a chance to

Though a power male, his sensitive wolf ears just weren't able to take another moment ofthe excruciating sounds that were coming from the bathroom.Creeping towards the brouhaha, he approached the door on full alertas he wasn't sure what to expect. Opening the door, his eyesimmediately caught sight of the commotion and his cock went hard.Though his eyes were eating up the curvy, dark-skinned beauty thatstood under the four showerheads, his ear drums were battered by thetorturous noise emitted from her mouth. She wasn't engaged in afight to the death. She was … singing. She was singing something about average girls andvideos. He didn't know the song, but the song didn't matter. Theonly thing that his cock registered was all that fineness. Damn.Whoever she was, she was the most tempting woman Jack recalledhaving seen. Perusing exhibits at Guggenheim didn't come close tocompeting with the experience of perusing the temptress in all hernatural and wet beauty. Of course he thought that as his hearingwas being damaged.Hands down, she was categorically the worst singer he'd ever heard, and then she turned around. The blood that was filling his eardrumsquickly reversed itself and rushed straight to his groin. Whoevershe was, she was like a sledgehammer in his groin region. He felthis incisors lengthening as well as his cock getting a glimpse ofthe dips, curves, valleys and treasures of the front of her.Her full breasts which were tipped with the dark chocolate nipplesthat beckoned him to taste, to nibble. Slick with soap and theluckiest water known to man, they had the beast in him snarling ademand to be unleased. Those amazing breasts swayed as she did alittle jiggle to the music only she heard …hopefully, the tune sheheard wasn't hurting her as bad as it was hurting him.Blocking out the sound that was worse than nails raking across achalkboard, he licked his lips. Swallowing a moan, his eyestravelled down to the hair that was guarding her secret haven. Hiseyes widened and his wolf tongue involuntarily came out of his mouthas he saw that her hair was waxed in the shape of … a lighteningbolt. Damn. Jack could almost taste the pearl that he knew washidden beneath."Having fun there perve?"Shaking his head, Jack finally realized that the cacophony hadstopped. He probably hadn't noticed, possibly due to the fact thathis ears were still ringing through his brain like the brakes of afreight train. Swallowing, he moved his emerald green gaze up thecurvy body that had him sweating and locked on the amused eyes ofthe owner of the body that tempted him like fresh meat on a hunt. When he didn't respond straight away, the temptress raised hereyebrows a little more."I came to see if you needed help killing that packof wild animals you were fighting," Jack answered. Not even bothering to hide her nakedness, the curvy goddess cockedher head to the side and stared at him. Confusion flittered acrossher features and her caramel eyes looked thoughtful as she asked."What animals?""I'm sorry. I thought that a whole bunch ofsomethings were dying in here. It was only after I entered that Irealized that it wasn't a fight; you were simply attempting tosing," Jack goaded."I like to sing in the shower," she said not lookinginsulted in the least.Well maybe she did look insulted but Jack's eyes and brain werelocked in a battle. His mind said it was rude to leave her face yethis eyes and cock ganged up against his brain and said fuck that. This is why his eyes continued to wander down her delicious full-figured body. He was on the verge of grinding his teeth in aneffort to stop himself from giving into the need to tune her out andperuse her glorious feminine form."Can you hear yourself when you do that?" sheasked. He noticed that her eyebrows were once again raised but before hecould form a proper reply, a grin spread across her full lips – lipsthat would look fantastic around his thick cock. Jack shook hishead. Damn! Get it together man! He silently berated himself.Yeah, get it together and get her spread out under you! His brainand cock weren't into helping him out at all."Not really, all the water in my ears and what not,"she replied.Still stuck on ogling her, silence fell between them. Being fullydressed in the presence of a naked woman, and already having beencaught outright staring, Jack knew that the appropriate thing to dowas to back out now that he knew that there wasn't an all-out battletaking place in the bathroom. He also knew that it would be best ifhe left the bathroom without looking down. Jack's mind said onething but his eyes weren't even trying to hear that. Before hecould stop them, they looked down without his permission. His gazefell to the hair between the woman's thick thighs and wouldn't youknow it that the mouth-watering fine woman caught him looking."Don't you just love it? It's all about where you smooth the wax on.I was like, hey I want something different. I mean everyone'sgetting a Brazilian which is fine but it's like, seen one; seen themall. Ya' know?"Jack swallowed - hard. Without answering he turned on his heel andwalked back into his bedroom and slammed the door. Leaning againstthe door he gave his imagination free reign. Of course it sprintedto visions of the craziest, sexiest, curviest, worst-singing womanthat he'd ever met. Feeling the wolf trying to claw to the surface,he had to will his body to remain in human form as the sexualtension in his body rammed him hard. Why did his best friend have toget married the night of the full moon? And who was the womansharing his bathroom? He had more questions than answers but heknew one thing for sure: it was going to be one helluva weekend.Jack just hoped he survived it.*«*»*After the big, beautiful man departed, Destiny finished her showerwith the quickness. As she walked naked into the bedroom that Starhad reserved for her, she couldn't help but wonder just who in thehell that fine, emerald-eyed piece of eye candy was. Being that hewas in the fortress known as the Locke Mansion, he was obviously afriend. She hadn't met him before … because if she had, he would'vealready been pregnant with their fifth child.Crinkling her forehead in an attempt to retrieve the miscellaneousstuff she had stored there, she tried to recall what Star had saidabout any drop-dead gorgeous men and came up with nothing. Oh,wait, Star had mentioned something about being in the room next toLukas's best friend. And if Mr. Fine was Lukas's best friend thatmeant that he was in the wedding party, which meant that she'd getthe chance to see his delicious ass in a tux. Oh yeah!Lukas had fine friends. Unconsciously Destiny licked her plump lipsimagining Mister emerald eyes all mussed up and beneath her as shehad her wicked way with that panty-dropping fine body that had beenoutlined by his stonewashed jeans and t-shirt. She grinned toherself as she pictured him giving her the ride of her long life andthen reality crept in. A man that fine had to have a woman … orseveral of them.Oh well, dreams are free she thought wistfully as she slipped on theblack stretchy shirt and pulled on black jeans that moulded to herbody like a second skin. Studying her reflection, she turned tomake sure the jeans did her ass justice. They did. Hey, she wasn'tconceited, but she had a great ass and she liked to make sure it wasalways shown in its best light. After finger-combing her naturalcurls, she threw on some gloss and smiled back at her image."Hey, baby," she said to her reflection. "Sometimes I wish I wassomebody else for a minute so I could see how cool it is to date me."She wasn't conceited. She was simply a thick, black who was at onewith her size. Taking one more look at herself, she winked at herreflection, and strutted from the room. Reaching the foyer of theLocke Mansion Destiny found it quiet. The quiet meant that no onenor no thing was trying to infiltrate. That was good on the onehand because it meant that she didn't have to worry about having tokick something's ass, but on the other hand, the quiet was simply achallenge for a shit-starter like her. Smiling, she decided to findsome of the Locke Brotherhood to mess with. Being that the LockeBrotherhood was comprised of men and men were pretty much bottomlessstomachs and dicks, she headed in the direction of the kitchen.Walking into the kitchen, she smiled at seeing all that brawn standat attention when she entered. This was going to be such fun,Destiny grinned to herself."Ms. Smith," Craven the new second-in-commandgreeted her formally before bowing at the waist."Craven, how're you doin'?" she called him by hisfirst name, just as she did every title-holding Vampire with theexception of Lord de Vires. But then there was only one Lord deVires. "And please, this goes for all of you, call me Destiny. Ms.Smith sounds like a school teacher who actually does such stuff aswear underwear and doesn't do oral."A few of the Brotherhood laughed discreetly behind their hands.Boris, one of the few Locke Brothers who knew her, stepped forwardand bowed respectfully before hugging her."Hello Destiny," he greeted her.Destiny grinned and cuffed him in a broad shoulder. "How's ithangin', Boris!? Or should I simply ask all the fine ladies in thearea?"He smiled and tried not to blush at Destiny's brash greeting."That won't be necessary, Destiny. Obviously, youmistake me for the other Locke Brothers; I am the good one," hesmiled."That's what word on the street is," she grinned back."How can we be of assistance?" he asked her."Is Lukas still all up under Star?"Again several of the Locke Brothers hid their smiles behind theirhands as she continued talking."Cos' I was wondering if y'all were going to give him a bachelor'snight out?"Destiny was about to continue when she noticed the mass look ofconfusion."I know you guys are cut off from the rest of the world but come on,you've at least gotta' get Lukas fucked up on his last night offreedom.""You want us to hurt Commander Montague?" Cravenasked. Noticing his look of bafflement she burst into laughter sohard that she had to lean on Craven for support. Taking a muchneeded deep breath after her laughing fit, she spoke."Dude, you guys really need to get to know somehumans.""They are our source of nourishment–" Boris began.Destiny shook her head and smiled big before speaking."No you crazy guy! I mean actually get to know somehumans. They're fun once you get to know them.""We'll take your word for that, Healer," one of thenewer Brothers said. Her eyes flashed a warning at the vampire a split second before shespoke."Do not call me that," she snapped as anger replacedher good humour. She was about to get all up in the Brother's face when Borisdistracted her."So what do we do on this bachelor's night out?" heasked.Destiny grinned. Her ill humour forgotten and trouble brewing inher caramel-coloured eyes, she answered."Oh, don't you worry guys. Aunty Destiny is here tohelp."--our website: www.jeanieandjayha.comour bookstore:http://stores.lulu.com/store.php?fAcctID=1374620our yahoogroup:http://groups.yahoo.com/group/JeanieandJayhaour blogspots: http://themfpposse.blogspot.com/http://jeanieandjayha.blogspot.com/

Dangerous Bet:Troy's Revenge excerpt

A shiver ran through him as her soft breasts brushed over his chest. It had been such a long time since he wanted to lose himself in a woman’s body. Holding Headley close to him, he backed them up until her back touched the desk behind them.
“You smell so good,” he whispered burying his nose below her ear. “I could just eat you up.” Nipping at her neck, Troy cupped Headley’s ass in his hands and held her against him. “Why don’t we just stop all of this fighting and get down to the good stuff?”
“Troy, you aren’t going to seduce me into giving in to you,” Headley moaned by his ear. “I’ll fight you every step of the way.”
“That’s such a waste of energy. I know we can find a better way for you to get rid of it. With the built up sexual tension we have we’ll be explosive together. Hell…the fire alarm will go off when we finally give in.”
“You’re wrong,” she denied with shake of her head. “I don’t want you.”
Inching back, Troy stared at Headley while she fought to keep her body under control, but he could see how hard her nipples were through the thin t-shirt. Reaching out, he ran his hand slowly down the front of her shirt pausing long enough to give each nipple a firm pinch.
Headley gasped but she didn’t tell him to stop. Instead she drew her full bottom lip between her two front teeth and waited. He slowly ran his fingers over her bare stomach almost getting lost in the silkiness of it.
“Are you sure that you want to get into another bet with me? I’m already going to win this one. Do you really want to get into another with me?”
He was ready to prove that there would more than a strong sexual pull between them. His whole being seem to be waiting for her response all he needed was the word and Headley would be screaming his name.
“You’re a smug something, aren’t you?” Headley asked running her hand down the middle of his chest. “How do you know I’m not faking my need for you?”
His lips recaptured her, more demanding this time. Parting her lips, he thrust his tongue inside and devoured its softness. He had to prove he was the only man for her. A low growl erupted from his throat when Headley’s arms wrapped around his neck and her hips grounded against his.
Tearing his mouth away, he nibbled a path down her neck while his hands eased between them and he unbuttoned her pants. Slipping a hand inside, he worked two fingers into her wetness.
“Fuck…you’re so damn tight! Will your hold my cock this snug when I finally get inside of you?”
