Do you have a writing routine that you do to get you in the mood to write? Do you have snack handy at your side or do you play a certain CD to get your mind in the mood?
How about a certain time of day that you pencil in to only write? Please post what your writing sessions usually consist of on a daily basis.

i usually write when i come home from work
hopefully i will get in the zone and not stop until around 1 or 2 pm then i sleep all afternoon--i am totally weird.
I actually make soundtracks from my library on my media player
I have a Nineteen Soundtrack a Dark Knight Soundtrack and another I called Sex-O that is just for the love scenes

Rachel, I really impressed with the way you have everything thought out. I wished I was that organized when it came to me music.
But when I really want to get my mind working I usually play some Mary J. Blige, R. Kelly or Toni Braxton.
On days I've really bad writer's block I play AAliyah because it helps my mind relax.
I do this during the week and the weekends are a free for all. I grab the first CD that looks good and I pop it in.
I work a day job, so I usually have a notepad or legal pad with me at work. I can work on plots during my breaks or lunch.
